Carbohydrate diet is to control carbohydrate, so you can't eat sweet sweet cakes, cola, and rice. And calorie counting diet is counting calories and keep ~1500 calories in a day.
First, food. Carbohydrate diet, you can eat meat, vegetable, cheese, egg, sea food, maybe you think sounds good, but you must not eat fruit, sweets, bread, and rice. On the other hand, Calorie counting diet, you can eat everything. So Calorie counting diet win on food.
